MIAMI — A motorcyclist was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center Thursday morning after being struck by a car in the City of Miami, authorities confirmed.
The incident occurred around 6:15 a.m. in the area of Southwest Eighth Street and 36th Avenue.
The victim’s identity and condition have not yet been released, but police say the injuries were not believed to be critical.
The roadway was closed in the area as authorities investigated the circumstances surrounding the crash.
No other details were immediately released.
