Man with bat causes scare at Bal Harbour Shops

BAL HARBOUR, Fla. – A scare at Bal Harbour Shops on Sunday had shoppers running for the exits.

Authorities were quick to say that the incident was not related to an active shooter.

Bal Harbour Mayor Gabriel Groisman tweeted that the incident involved a man with a bat.

The mayor added that no one was injured.
