LAKE WORTH, Fla. — One person was bitten by a shark Thursday morning in Palm Beach County, authorities confirmed.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue officials confirmed that the incident was reported near Lake Worth Beach Park on South Ocean Boulevard.
Officials said the victim was transported to a local hospital, but declined to release further information about the victim, citing the HIPAA law.
No other details about the incident were immediately released by authorities.
