BSO gang task force seizes dozens of guns, several kinds of narcotics

OAKLAND PARK, Fla. — Authorities in Broward County arrested a man on Tuesday who was suspected of dealing drugs and selling guns.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, 24-year-old Brett Valley was believed to be distributing guns and narcotics to known gang members.

Undercover officers helped build a criminal case against Valley after investigators were alerted to crimes the Oakland Park man was allegedly committing.

Detectives recovered three dozen firearms and several kinds of drugs, including cocaine, marijuana, oxycodone, and ecstasy.

Valley is facing charges that include armed trafficking of oxycodone and the sale, manufacture or delivery of cannabis.

The investigation is ongoing.
