Police investigate double shooting in Lauderhill

LAUDERHILL, Fla. – Police responded to the scene of a double shooting in Lauderhill Tuesday night.

According to Lauderhill police, multiple people called 911 to report a shooting in the area of Northwest 23rd Street and 59th Terrace.

Officers responded to the scene and found a Black male lying next to a vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Broward Health Medical Center, where he died.

He was identified Thursday as Brandon Bell.

Police said a second victim, also identified only as a Black adult male, was driven by another person to Florida Medical Center, and was later transferred to Broward Health Medical Center.

His condition has not been released.

No arrests have been made.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Lauderhill police or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest in the case.
