WESTON, Fla. — A Weston shopping plaza was evacuated Tuesday morning due to an active gas leak at a bagel shop, officials confirmed.
According to a tweet from the city, the gas leak was reported at Mitch’s Westside Bagels, located at 2310 Weston Road.
Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue crews responded to the scene.
Weston officials said the plaza was ventilated and the bagel shop has since reopened.
No other details were immediately released.
