Flames erupt inside unoccupied home in Southwest Ranches

SOUTHWEST RANCHES, Fla. — A fire broke out in a residential neighborhood in Southwest Ranches on Monday night.

The home that caught fire is located in the 13600 block of Stirling Road.

Authorities said it is an unoccupied dwelling and may have been a residential unit being built.

Nobody was on site and no injuries were reported.

Several fire units responded to the blaze.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
