COCONUT CREEK, Fla. — Firefighters rushed to the scene of a blaze in Coconut Creek on Monday.

A brush fire sparked in a wooded area near Hillsboro Boulevard and Lyons Road.

Traffic was temporarily diverted as first responders began fighting the blaze, officials said.

There have been no reports of injuries.

Authorities said Monday evening that crews had the fire under control.
