FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Detectives asked the public for help on Thursday with solving a mystery in Broward County.

Dieula Jean Pierre — who suffers from a mental illness and only speaks Haitian Creole — vanished on Sunday from the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

Jean Pierre, 25, was last seen at about 8:30 p.m., on Sunday, near 300 Terminal Drive, according to Claudinne Caro, a spokeswoman for the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

Jean Pierre is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 110 lbs. She was last seen wearing a blue and white dress and a black hooded sweatshirt.

BSO Detective Chris Blankenship was asking anyone with information about her whereabouts to call 954-321-4268 or 954-764-4357.
