MARGATE, Fla. — Margate police are searching for an “endangered person” who they said was last seen Tuesday at HCA Florida Northwest Hospital.
According to police, Dawn Starke was last seen around 8:25 p.m. at the hospital by a nurse who was discharging her.
Police said the hospital was arranging a ride back to her home, but she left before the ride arrived.
According to police, it’s unknown which direction she headed in when she left the hospital and police believe she may be in danger.
Police described Starke as a Black female with short black hair and brown eyes. She is 5 feet, 8 inches tall.
She was last seen wearing a pink and orange shirt and blue basketball shorts.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call the Margate Police Department at 954-972-7111.
