Man injured after crashing into parked cars in Miami’s Little Haiti

Good Samaritans try to help driver trapped in car on fire

MIAMI – After the loud sound of the collision, Miami residents rushed to the scene of a multi-vehicle crash in the Little Haiti neighborhood.

A man who was driving a blue car barreled into a row of parked cars near North Miami Avenue and 56 Street and was trapped.

Witnesses said the car caught on fire, and Good Samaritans rushed to get a hose. Fire rescue personnel pulled the driver out of the car and extinguished the flames.

Fire rescue personnel took the man to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center. His condition was critical.

Detectives were asking anyone with information about the case to call Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
