Good Samaritan agrees to help a stranger who then stabbed him and stole his car in Miami-Dade

Witnesses share video of stabbing victim

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A man stabbed the driver who was helping him with a ride and stole his car on Saturday night in Miami-Dade County, according to the Miami-Dade Police Department.

Witnesses said the car screeched to a halt, and there was screaming, as the men struggled inside the car near the intersection of Southwest 93 Avenue and Fourth Lane.

The driver, who was not a ride-share driver, got out of the car and collapsed, according to witnesses. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and detectives were investigating the incident.

Detectives were asking anyone with information about the case to call Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
