Detectives search for missing 25-year-old Tamarac man with mental illness

TAMARAC, Fla. – The Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit asked for the public’s help Friday to locate a 25-year-old man from Tamarac who they say has been reported missing for over a month.

According to detectives, Matthew Robinson was last seen around 7 a.m. on Jan. 4, in the 7400 block of North University Drive.

Detectives say he is about 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs around 130 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a white shirt and black pants.

According to his family, Robinson experiences mental illness and requires medication. He is also missing his left arm.
