MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A brush fire is burning Wednesday in west Miami-Dade County.
Sky 10 was above the area near the 15600 block of Southwest 31st Lane around 1 p.m. as heavy smoke was coming from the scene.

A Miami-Dade Fire Rescue helicopter was flying overhead as multiple crews were also on the ground.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials confirmed that he fire was reported around noon.
“On-scene units are assessing any exposures and access. Florida Forestry has been notified,” a spokesperson for the agency told Local 10 News.
The fire did not appear to be close to any homes.
Further details about the blaze were not immediately released.
