CUDJOE KEY, Fla. — Authorities in Monroe County are searching for a missing elderly man.
Family members said 84-year-old James Kremer Prell has been missing since Friday night.
According to police, Prell left his Cudjoe Key home on foot at approximately 11 p.m.
He was wearing only what police describe as black, Croc-type sandals and holding a flashlight.
Family members said Prell suffers from dementia along with other medical conditions that can make him non-verbal.
Police said Prell was last seen on Astruias Road, a few blocks from his home.
