Police officers follow large crocodile in Aventura

AVENTURA, Fla. — Police officers were on their midnight shift when they started to follow a crocodile.

It was early Friday morning, in Aventura, and the crocodile roamed through sidewalks and a roadside garden near Northeast 34 Avenue and North Country Club Drive.

Afraid the crocodile could injure someone, they followed until a professional trapper arrived to relocate the reptile away from humans and pets.
