Driver hits several cars, injures pedestrian in Margate Walmart parking lot

MARGATE, Fla. — A driver struck several vehicles and a pedestrian in a Walmart parking lot in Margate Thursday morning, according to police.

That pedestrian, a woman, was hospitalized with a possible broken leg.

The crash happened just before 8 a.m. at the Walmart at 5555 W. Atlantic Blvd.

Police said the cause of the crash “was not intentional nor criminal” and no one else was injured.

Authorities taped off a portion of the lot while they investigated.
