SUNRISE, Fla. — Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Person’s Unit have confirmed that 14-year-old Shanoya Nicholson was found safe and unharmed.
Investigators say Nicholson returned home and has since been reunited with her family.
A BSO Missing Person’s alert was issued on May 10, after Nicholson was last seen near the 8000 block of Northwest 44th Street in Sunrise.
Authorities have not said what led to her disappearance.
