LAUDERHILL, Fla. — A Lauderhill Fire Rescue crew transported a 10-year-old girl to a hospital Monday morning after she nearly drowned in a pool, first responders confirmed to Local 10 News.

The near drowning was reported at a home in the 4700 block of Northwest 18th Street.

According to Lauderhill Fire Rescue, the victim was taken to Broward Health Medical Center, where she is listed in critical condition.

No other details were immediately released.
