NORTH LAUDERDALE, Fla. — The Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit said they located 13-year-old Aniyah Saillant who was reported missing from North Lauderdale.

According to detectives, Saillant was located and is safe.

A missing person’s alert was issued after she was last seen at around 10 p.m. on Sunday, May 12, near the 700 block of Belmont Lane in North Lauderdale.

Authorities have not said what led to her disappearance.
