MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — One person was taken into custody Wednesday morning in northwest Miami-Dade after a vehicle was stolen, authorities confirmed.

Sky 10 was above the area of Northwest 135th Street and North Miami Avenue around 6:15 a.m. as a black car was pressed up against a fence.

Both front doors were left open.

Detective Angel Rodriguez, who is also a spokesman for the Miami-Dade Police Department, confirmed that officers were working a stolen vehicle perimeter in the area.

He said one subject was in custody.

No other details were immediately released.
