Miami-Dade police search for missing, endangered 51-year-old woman

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — Miami-Dade police detectives asked for the public’s help Thursday in locating a woman who they say is considered endangered and has been reported missing for nearly a week.

According to investigators, Vilma Gil, 51, was last seen around noon on Saturday, near the 5300 block of Sunset Drive in Miami.

Detectives say Gil is 5 feet, 3 inches and weighs around 120 pounds. She may be in need of services.

She has blonde hair, hazel eyes and was last seen wearing a black Puma hat, a multi-colored blouse and black pants, according to investigators.
