HOLLYWOOD, Fla. — Hollywood police officers are searching for an arsonist in a red Toyota Corolla, who recently targeted a family-owned restaurant with roots in Italy’s small town of Vomero in Naples.
Surveillance video shows the arsonist throwing a Molotov cocktail shortly before 5 a.m., on June 24, at The Broadwalk Restaurant & Grill, at 1400 North Surf Road, police said.
The Molotov cocktail landed near the back door. It didn’t set the building on fire.
About four years ago nearby a fire damaged the Little Venice Pizza Restaurant. La Brochetterie, Blue Wave, Hollywood Grill, At Peru Restaurant, and Ocean Alley.
