MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — Authorities continue to investigate a fatal, single vessel boat accident that occurred on Saturday in Card Sound.
On Sunday, authorities identified the victim as 21-year-old Eytan M. Genoune of Boynton Beach.
According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, three people were ejected from the 34-foot Nor-Tech boat on Saturday morning due to “a sudden turn.”
Two people were pulled from the water and rushed to a nearby hospital, according to the FWC.
A third person, Genoune, did not survive and was deceased when pulled from the water, authorities said.
The FWC said the investigation remains active and that a final report will be available once its concluded.
