MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — Christmas Eve turned violent in the Bunche Park neighborhood of Miami Gardens Tuesday evening.
Neighbors reported hearing a barrage of gunfire in the 16000 block of Northwest 18th Avenue at around 9 or 9:30 p.m. They said they got on their hands and knees, ducking for cover.
Miami Gardens police said officers responded and “found a male shot in the head.”
Police didn’t specify whether the victim was an adult or a child.
They had at least one person detained and said the investigation was “ongoing.”
