A Florida Highway Patrol spokesperson said troopers shut down the highway at Northwest 135th Street as part of an investigation, saying there was “no active incident.”

“Troopers are taking measurements for a prior incident,” FHP Lt. Alex Camacho, an agency spokesperson, said.

The highway reopened just before 4 p.m.

Officials didn’t disclose additional information about the “prior incident” in question.
