WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Federal prosecutors recently accused two Ukrainian women of voter fraud at a public library in South Florida, records show.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, a 22-year-old woman and her 53-year-old mother participated in early voting in Palm Beach County during last year’s presidential election.

Yelyzaveta Demydenko and her mother, Svitlana Demydenko, had been in the U.S. since 2021 when they cast their votes illegally on Oct. 31, in Boynton Beach, according to prosecutors.

The Demydenko duo, who are not U.S. citizens, appeared in federal court on Tuesday in West Palm Beach. They each faced a charge of unlawful voting by an alien in a presidential election

HSI Miami agents worked with Florida Department of Law Enforcement and Florida Department of State investigators on the case.
