Reward increased for information about fatal Pompano Beach shooting

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — Broward Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest of the person who authorities say fatally shot a man in Pompano Beach back in February.

The shooting happened shortly before 1 a.m. on Feb. 16 at a home on Northwest Sixth Street and Seventh terrace.

According to investigators, Ke’Tavious Walker was shot at the scene and later died at a local hospital.

Around 9 a.m. on the same day of the shooting, Local 10 crews spotted BSO’s SWAT team on the scene along with an ambulance on standby. However, deputies said they are still searching for the person responsible.

There has been no word yet on the circumstances or a possible motive that led up to the shooting.
