Adopt A Pet: Meet Clarita

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. — Staff at the Humane Society of Broward County are looking for a home for Clarita, a 2-year-old, 29-pound dog.

Clarita, who is shy but affectionate, arrived from another facility and needs a quiet home to adjust, staff members say.

She is believed to be a dachshund mix.

As of Saturday, Clarita has been at the shelter for only 48 hours and was in a quieter kennel.
