Police: 2 men shot in Key West, gunman in custody

KEY WEST, Fla. – Police are investigating a shooting in Key West.

It happened Sunday at approximately 3:55 a.m. along the 500 block of Greene Street.

According to police, officers arrived to the scene and found two men, ages 25 and 33, who had been shot. They also said they made contact with the alleged shooter and located a firearm at the scene.

The 25-year-old victim was taken by helicopter to a trauma center in Miami-Dade County, authorities said.

Additionally, police said the gunman, a 25-year-old man, was taken into custody.

Officers are investigating the circumstances that led to the shooting.
