Police investigate shooting that left man hospitalized in Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. — Police are investigating a shooting that they said left a man hospitalized in Hollywood on Wednesday night.

It happened sometime between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. near the 2900 block of Northwest 42nd Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers with the Hollywood Police Department said they located a man suffering with “injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.”

After rendering aid, police said medics transported the man to Broward Health Medical Center, where he remains in stable condition as of Thursday morning.

Police have not released any information on a possible motive or suspect at this time.
