“Without the alleged victim’s cooperation, (the state attorney’s office) is unable to proceed with prosecution,” the memo dated May 12 read.
According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, the alleged victim told a detective in March that she had known Infeny Coulanges, 28, for about a decade when she trusted him with her phone and password.
The woman and her friend claimed he later betrayed her, stealing nude photos from her phone and engaging in sextortion, records show.
“Home girl naked pictures already going around in prison you next,” Coulanges wrote in a text message to the woman’s friend, according to a deputy’s arrest report.
Records show five charges were dropped in the case – threats/extortion, written threats to kill or cause bodily injury, unlawful use of a communications device, theft and stalking.
