Police: Man dies at 21 after crash in motorcycle in Lauderhill

LAUDERHILL, Fla. — Daniel Parra, who was riding a red Kawasaki motorcycle when he died had collided with a grey Toyota RAV4 on Saturday in Lauderhill, police announced on Sunday.

According to Lt. Antonio Gonzalez, a spokesman for the Lauderhill Police Department, Parra marked his 21st birthday on Nov. 7.

Lauderhill Fire Rescue personnel pronounced Parra dead after the crash shortly after 7:20 a.m., along West Sunrise Boulevard, near Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.

A grieving family told Local 10 News that Parra’s friend was riding another motorcycle when he witnessed the fatal crash.

The cause of the fiery crash outside the Swap Shop remained under investigation on Sunday.
