CLEARWATER, Fla. — A Florida man recently confessed to infecting an 8-year-old boy with HIV, records show.
The victim reported last year that Bobby McAffee had raped him in St. Petersburg.
Detectives arrested McAffee, 62, of Clearwater, after his confession on Friday.
McAffee faces a charge of sexual battery of a child less than 12 years old in Pinellas County.
