Detectives investigate stabbing in Fort Lauderdale

Police officers respond to a stabbing on Tuesday in Fort Lauderdale.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Detectives were investigating a stabbing on Tuesday in Fort Lauderdale.

According to Sgt. David Soika, a spokesman for the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, the stabbing was at the 100th block of South Andrews Avenue.

“Officers arrived on scene and located an adult victim,” Soika wrote in a statement.

Fire rescue personnel rushed the trauma victim to the Broward Health Medical Center, according to Soika.

Detectives asked anyone with information about this or other cases to call Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477 to remain anonymous.
