LAUDERHILL, Fla. – A man was hospitalized Wednesday night after being stabbed by his adult son during an argument, according to the Lauderhill Police Department.

LPD officials said officers responded just before 9 p.m. to the 6800 block of Sienna Club Drive following reports of a stabbing.
Upon arrival, police said they found a man suffering from a stab wound.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, according to investigators.
Police said the stabbing occurred during an argument between the victim and the suspect, who was later identified as the victim’s adult son.
They said the suspect, whose name and age have not been released, was taken into custody at the scene.
Police did not say what the victim and his son were arguing about before the stabbing occurred, but confirmed that the investigation is “open and active.”
