Police seek help identifying gunman who fired at 2 victims in parking lot dispute

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – Police are offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of a man accused of opening fire on two people outside a cigar bar in Pembroke Pines during the early morning hours of May 31.

According to the Pembroke Pines Police Department, the suspect — described as a light-skinned white Hispanic man, approximately 25 years old with an afro-style haircut — was involved in a verbal altercation with another man around 2:30 a.m. in the parking lot at 314 SW 145th Terrace.

Investigators said the suspect appeared intoxicated and got into his black 2022 Toyota Corolla after the argument. He then pulled up alongside the male and female victims and fired three to four gunshots in their direction before speeding away.

They said the man suffered non life-threatening injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital. The female victim was not hurt.
