MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – A Miami Gardens man was arrested over the weekend after he pushed an elderly man off of his wheelchair at an assisted living facility, authorities said.

According to an arrest report from the Miami Gardens Police Department, the incident occurred Friday at the Colonial assisted living facility, located at 1864 NW 175th St.
The suspect, Raymond A. Moore, 54, was arrested the following day.
According to his arrest report, Moore had gotten into an argument with the victim before pushing him out of his wheelchair, causing the victim to fall to the floor and hit his head.
Police said Moore claimed that he had gotten upset because of how the victim treats the staff at the facility.
The report did not specify whether Moore is an employee at the facility, or what his reason for being there was.
According to the report, the victim had to be transported to the hospital after the incident Friday night, yet police were not called until Saturday morning.
Police noted in the arrest report that the victim sustained a bruise to his forehead.
Moore was arrested on a charge of battery on a person 65 or older.
As of Monday morning, Moore was no longer appearing in the online jail database.
