MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Sardinia Italian, in the Sunset Harbor neighborhood of Miami Beach, has closed its doors.
The popular Italian restaurant, located at 1801 Purdy Avenue, made the announcement on Sunday on social media, thanking its guests for the two decades in business.

According to the restaurant’s website, Chef Pietro, and co-owner/ restaurateur Antonio “Tony” Gallo opened their doors in 2006.
Its dishes were featured on several television shows as well as national publications. It was also known for its wine list, “Enoteca,” which featured about 300 bottles of wines as well as Prosecco from Italy.
