According to his arrest report, an undercover detective called Martin Andres Romero, 36, on June 19 and inquired about purchasing $200 worth of cocaine.
Police said Romero agreed to the transaction and met up with the detective outside his apartment unit.
According to the report, Romero sold the detective 2 grams of cocaine before re-entering his apartment unit.
Police said a search warrant was obtained the following day and Romero was taken into custody Tuesday in the front patio area of the building.
His son was found inside a bedroom in the apartment, authorities said.
According to the report, a plethora of drugs were found inside the home, including about 42 grams of suspected cocaine, about 98 grams of suspected MDMA, about 2 grams of suspected LSD, about 157 grams of suspected psilocybin mushroom, about 602 grams of suspected ketamine and 6 grams of suspected fentanyl.
In the kitchen, detectives found several mixing instruments containing powdery residue and spotted small bags nearby containing suspected drugs.
“Based on training, knowledge, and experience, the substances found in the kitchen are consistent with the precursors used to manufacture 2cb, commonly referred to as tusi/pink cocaine,” the arrest report stated.
Romero was arrested on multiple drug charges, as well as charges of renting for the purpose of trafficking, unlawful use of a communications device, child abuse without great bodily harm and manufacturing a controlled substance with a minor present.
As of Wednesday morning, Romero was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. Online jail records listed his bond as “to be set.”
An immigration hold was also listed for the Venezuelan national.
