MIAMI – Trippie Redd was about to board his flight to Europe before deputies arrested him on Thursday afternoon at Miami International Airport, records show.

The 26-year-old Ohio trap music star who lives in Southwest Ranches had a pending 2023 arrest warrant related to an invalid driver’s license case, according to the Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Office arrest report.
Deputies arrested the trapper, born Michael L. White, at 4:50 p.m. at MIA’s Terminal J after U.S. Customs and Border Protection reported he had an active Miami-Dade County bench warrant and was at Gate 17, according to the deputies’ report.
Although M-DCSO deputies reported the trapper was on his way to France and planned to board flight LH1378, Les Ardentes, a music festival in Belgium, listed him on Saturday’s lineup.
On Instagram, the musician’s last reel for his 12.4 million followers was with Jamaican DJ Vybz Kartel, born Adidja Azim Palmer, at MIA, outside Terminal J.
Corrections deputies booked White on Thursday at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center and released him on a $150 bond, according to M-DCSO deputies.
