‘Projectile’ injures woman in Miami’s Little Havana: Police

MIAMI — Detectives were investigating how a woman was injured on Friday night in Miami’s Little Havana.

Police officers and fire rescue personnel responded after 6:10 p.m. to the area of Southwest Seventh Street and 19 Avenue in Little Havana.

According to the Miami Police Department, the woman was “possibly grazed by a projectile” and fire rescue took her to Jackson Memorial Hospital.

The incident was under investigation. Detectives asked anyone with information about this or other cases to call Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477 to remain anonymous.
