BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. — A person was taken into custody early Saturday morning following a reported shooting outside a strip club in West Park, authorities said.
Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies said they responded shortly after 5:30 a.m. to a call about a shooting near the Playhouse Gentlemen’s Club at 5775 W. Hallandale Beach Blvd.
Deputies said they found multiple vehicles that appeared to have crashed in front of the club, including two BMWs.
They said at least one vehicle had its airbags deployed. A tow truck removed the damaged vehicles from the scene.
A person in handcuffs was seen being checked by paramedics before being placed into a BSO vehicle.
Authorities have not confirmed whether that individual is connected to the incident.
No injuries were reported in connection with the shooting.
BSO said Violent Crimes Unit detectives are investigating the shooting.
