The Miccosukee Casino & Resort issued a press release Monday, warning the public about a recent rise in fraudulent online advertisements “promoting real-money online gaming under the Miccosukee name.”
The Miccosukee confirmed the promotions are not in any way affiliated with the casino and said they currently do not offer any form of real-money online gaming.
“These fake advertisements are misleading and potentially harmful to consumers,” said Brad Rhines, General Manager of Miccosukee Casino & Resort. “Protecting the integrity of our brand and the trust of our guests is a top priority. We want to be clear — Miccosukee Casino & Resort does not operate any online gambling platforms.”
The casino urges the public to visit its official website at www.miccosukee.com or call 305-925-2555 for information regarding promotions, entertainment and gaming.
Anyone who spots suspicious advertisements or digital content using the casino’s name is encouraged to report it to info@miccosukee.com.
