FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Spirit Airlines is making it easier to travel from Fort Lauderdale to Key West.
On Tuesday, the airline announced it will be providing a non-stop flight between Fort Lauderdale International Airport and Key West International Airport.
According to a media release, the new service will operate four times per week on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday starting on Nov. 6 and will increase to daily flights starting Dec. 18, 2025.
“Our new service offers a convenient and affordable alternative to driving and gives our Guests in the Florida Keys a new way to coast through South Florida in style,” said John Kirby, Vice President of Network Planning at Spirit Airlines.
Guests planning to travel between the two destinations can pay an introductory fare of $79.
Spirit Airlines also travels to Fort Myers, Miami, Orlando, Pensacola, Tampa and West Palm Beach.
