Get ready for exciting changes at Local 10 News

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. — Big changes are coming to Local 10 News starting next Monday.

Back in March, the boss dropped the news that WPLG would be parting ways with ABC after nearly seven decades.

Station President Bert Medina said it was a business decision, that the network wanted more but offered less.

“ABC demanded that we pay more while receiving less value for the investment,” said Medina.

WPLG has had a strong legacy in South Florida, signing on as WPST in 1957.

It was renamed WPLG after Phillip Louis Graham, co-owner of the Washington Post, and since the beginning, we’ve been bringing you news and original reporting from Broward and Miami-Dade counties and the Florida Keys. None of that will change.

In fact, we are adding more news!

You’ll still see your favorite Local 10 News reporters and anchors on the air, as well as some talented new faces.

Channel 10 will remain the home to Live with Kelly and Mark in the morning and Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! in the evening.

We’re still channel 10 over the air, and can watch us on cable and some streaming services.
