FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — A man was stabbed Monday morning in Fort Lauderdale and has since been hospitalized, police confirmed.
According to Fort Lauderdale police, the stabbing was reported at 10:22 a.m. in the 4000 block of North Ocean Boulevard.
Police said officers arrived at the scene to find a man who had been stabbed.
The victim was transported by Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue to Broward Health Medical Center as a trauma alert.
The attacker fled the scene before police arrived.
The investigation remains ongoing and no other details were immediately released.
