Man found shot inside car in Lauderhill, police say

LAUDERHILL, Fla. — A man was found shot inside a car early Saturday morning in Lauderhill, according to police.

Officers with the Lauderhill Police Department said they responded around 4:45 a.m. to the 3300 block of Northwest 18th Place in reference to a shooting.

They said the victim, who was suffering from gunshot wounds, was found inside a vehicle and transported by fire rescue to Broward Health Medical Center.

The man in stable condition with injuries that are not considered life-threatening, police confirmed.

Investigators said the motive for the shooting is unknown, and no suspects have been identified at this time.

LPD’s Criminal Investigations Division and Crime Scene Investigations unit responded to the scene. Authorities said the investigation remains active.
