'Possible' electrocution injures 1 at golf club house in Plantation

PLANTATION, Fla. — One person was injured during what police officers described as a “possible electrocution” on Monday in Plantation.

Police officers and fire rescue personnel responded to the Jacaranda Golf Course and Country Club, a semi-private property north of Interstate 595.

Plantation A white commercial van with Smerkers Electric labels was parked outside of a building where police officers investigated a possible electrocution on Monday in Plantation.

A white commercial van with Smerkers Electric labels and ladders on the top was parked outside the Club House, at 9200 West Broward Boulevard, where the person was injured.

There was a group of people distraught outside. The Plantation Police Department did not identify the person injured or explain Smerkers Electric’s involvement, if any.
