Alina Corbato Deputies arrested Alina Corbato on Friday and she faced 11 charges in Miami-Dade County.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — A 57-year-old woman faced 11 criminal charges for alleged crimes involving about a dozen of her neighbors in Miami-Dade County, according to deputies.

Alina Corbato appeared in bond court on Monday after Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested her on Friday morning near Southwest 78 Street and 55 Avenue.

Corbato’s neighbors reported that witnesses saw her “break the rear windshield wipers off” from cars and use a knife to scratch off registration sticker decals from license plates, records show.

Corbato had already stolen a neighbor’s bicycle from a shared storage room on July 31, damaged it, and left it by a dumpster, according to an arrest report. It was valued at $3,000.

Court records show prosecutors filed a case against Corbato on Saturday for third-degree grand theft, a felony, and 10 counts of criminal mischief, a misdemeanor.

According to the arrest report, the neighbors had surveillance video. Corbato also appeared in court on Saturday and Sunday. Miami-Dade County Circuit Judge Milton Hirsch was set to preside over the case.
